Applications for the 2021 Reduction of Alcohol Misuse (RAM) award are officially open

The SAB Foundation has created an opportunity for entrepreneurs and innovators with solutions that address or prevent alcohol misuse. We are interested in out-of-the box thinking and strongly encourage entrepreneurs and innovators who are over the age of 18 with innovative solutions that address the following societal challenges to apply:

• Drunk driving

• Underage drinking

• Binge drinking

• Foetal Alcohol Syndrome

• Resistance to behaviour change

• The lack of available data on alcohol abuse

Awards range from R250 000 – R500 000 along with business development support to assist with venture growth.

Online applications open 11 August 2021 and close on 27 September 2021 at midday.
